Moscow says more forces pulled back from Ukraine’s borders

The Russian defense ministry appeared to show military vehicles leaving the Crimean Peninsula on Wednesday,  its second partial troop withdrawal claim in 48 hours from Ukraine’s borders.  However, NATO chief Jens Stollenberg said no de-escalation was visible on the ground and Russia “continues the military buildup.”  Meanwhile, Wednesday came and went without a Russian attack on Ukraine notwithstanding the US CIA’s predicted timing of that event. The uncertainty about President Vladimir Putin’s intentions remains.
