Moslem Brotherhood denounces Morsi’s detention
A Cairo investigating judge Friday ordered deposed president Mohamed Morsi detained for 15 days pending investigation into the charge of his suspected collaboration with the Palestinian Hamas to orchestrate a jailbreak during the 2011 revolution. Brotherhood spokesman Ahmed Aref said the accusation was “ridiculous.” Morsi has been in the custody of the military at an unknown location since his ouster in the July 3 coup.
