Motorist injures 3 people in Acre in suspected terror attack

A motorist plowed into a group of soldiers heading for the train station in Acre, in northwestern Israeli, injuring two, after rampaging through the Acre market and hitting a Border Police officer. None of the three were seriously injured. One of the soldiers shot the driver. He was taken to Nahariya hospital in critical condition and has not yet been identified. Witnesses to the incident report that the driver deliberately used his vehicle terrorist-style to hit people.

    ‘terrorist style’

    Got it. Check.

On 15th February, 1940, PM Neville Chamberlain in the House of commons affirmed,

‘Whatever the length to which others may go, H.M.Government will never resort to deliberate attack on women and children, and other civilians, for the purpose of mere terrorism,’

in a reply to Captain Ramsey. This reaffirmed the position given on 14th September the year previous. ‘City bombing’, he emphasised, ‘was absolutely contrary to international law’.
