Munich police: Mall attack “classic shooting rampage not terrorism”

In a media update Saturday, the Munich police and prosecution chiefs strenuously denied that the Iranian German who murdered 9 people and injured 27 at a large shopping mall Friday night had links to Islamic State after “intensive research” into the case. He was also described as receiving ‘”psychiatric and medical care,” and, finally, that the mall attack was “a classic shooting rampage not terrorism.”
