Mystery blasts at Shiite militia missile depot near Baghdad

Reports of a series of powerful explosions at 18:55 on Monday at the pro-Iranian PMU militia’s arms and missiles depot at Dura in southern Baghdad. Some witnesses said they saw “missiles blowing up in the air.” The PMU chief Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis is the first lieutenant of Al Qods chief the Iranian general Qassem Soleimani. Another report described a second missile attack against another PMU facility at Ain Ul Saqour near Baghdad. The blasts set off air raid sirens over parts of Iraq, including at the US embassy. No official word has been forthcoming to explain the explosions.

I wonder who would be doing such things?
But does not require an explanation, it is OK knowing only the result.

Poor maintenance. Stuff blows up by itself. They need to stick to goats.

Al-Muhandis is as vital to Iran as Nasrullah. Dispatching him would be a game changer to the Militias in Iraq as he was looked up to as invincible. If Sulaimani also goes to meet his maker, the Mullahs will disintegrate without a fart
