Nadav Argaman assumes command of Shin Bet security service today

Nadav Argaman will become director of Israel's Shin Bet domestic security service on Sunday, succeeding Yoram Cohen who held the position for the last five years. The 55-year-old Argaman has served for 33 years in the Shin Bet, most recently as deputy director, head of the operational branch and the service's representative in Washington.
