NATO ends biggest exercise ever in Norway and Iceland
More than 50,000 personnel from 35 NATO member-nations, along with 10, 000 military vehicles, 140 fighters and bombers and 70 warships, took part in the biggest war game the alliance has ever staged, which has just ended in Norway and Iceland. Helsinki and Oslo reported serious disruptions in their Global Positioning System signals and air crews were warned to be on guard. The interference was attributed to Russia’s intention to disrupt the NATO exercise.
