Naval Iron Dome in successful interception tests against advanced threats

Defense Minister Gallant hailed  the newly-adapted Iron Dome system as a significant advance in naval defense capabilities, ensuring operational superiority against growing maritime threats, such as rockets, cruise missiles and UAVs. The tests of a weapon designed to protect Israel’s assets on sea as well as land, were conducted by the Israel Defense Forces’ Naval Wing and the Ministry of Defense’s “Choma” Directorate, part of the Directorate of Defense Research and Development, along with the Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and the Israel Aerospace Industries.
