Nearly 30,000 people evacuated from Ukraine to Russia

There are 5,000 children among the 30,000 people evacuated from Ukraine to Russia in the past day, without the participation of Ukrainian authorities, the head of Russian’s national defense control center reported on Sunday. Ukraine and Western allies accuse Russia of forcefully evacuating a total of more than 2.6 million people from the Donbas republics since February, including some 400,000 children. Some of the children are being “legally adopted” by Russian families.

A Ukrainian military o9fficial said that Moscow is preparing for the next stage of its Ukraine offensive, stepping up actions in “all operational areas.”
