Netanyahu accuses AG of non-transparency on his case

PM Binyamin Netanyahu Sunday accused Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit of non-transparency over his decision to withhold from defense counsel access to all the investigative materials on the three corruption charges against him. Mandleblit said the complete investigation file will not be available to the defendant before his indictment is filed in court. Netanyahu charged that this action is an attempt to prejudge the outcome of the trial in advance and unprecedented. The court proceedings are meanwhile held up by Netanyahu’s application for parliamentary immunity from prosecution.
