Netanyahu delays, then shortens, his visit to Berlin

Before his departure Wednesday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced he would shorten his visit to Berlin due to security concerns at home. After being briefed on those concerns, he delayed his departure additionally to join President Yaakov Herzog for an intense effort to hammer out modificactions of the government’s judicial overhaul plan in the hope of terminating the massive protest polarizing the country for eleven weeks.
