Netanyahu denies offering to cede Golan

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu denied a local news report Friday claiming he was ready to withdraw from the Golan Heights, captured from Syrian invaders in the 1973 October War. The Golan is a strategic asset which Israel cannot forego, he stressed.
