Netanyahu flies to Chad to finalize defense pact

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu travels to N’Djamena Saturday night on a return visit for Chad President Idriss Deby’s trip to Israel last year. They are expected to finalize a defense cooperation pact under which Israel has agreed to assist Chad in defending its borders, especially the one with Libya. Netanyahu also expects the Chad leader to announce the establishment of normal relations with the Jewish State.  Netanyahu is the first Israeli prime minister to visit Chad in the 50 years since Golda Meir made that trip.

Nice job for Chad too. Normality is a good thing.
Chad has the Boko Haram issue, providing them support on debokoning is good too.
Iran and the Black September Authority in Ramallah tried to stop Netanyahu’s trip to Chad but failed, that’s also very good.
