Netanyahu halts all incoming flights. Covid-19 fatalities pass 100
The order from PM Binyamin Netanyahu came Saturday night after arrivals on recent flights were not screened for coronavirus infection or removed to an isolated area due to a legal barrier. They are believed to have been responsible for a recent rise in Israel’s virus figures. The order will remain in place until the Home Front Command is legally authorized to evacuate arrivals from overseas to a coronavirus isolation hotel. A total of 101 Israelis has died of coronavirus, while the number of confirmed cases has reached 10,743, of whom 175 are in serious condition and 120 on respirators.
