Netanyahu holds first phone conversation with Biden
PM Binyamin Netanyahu spoke on the phone to President-elect Joe Boden on Tuesday for the first time since the Nov. 3 election. President Reuven Rivlin also made a call.
Biden affirmed his deep commitment to the US-Israel relationship and agreed to meet with Netanyahu in the near future to discuss issues of mutual concern. The conversation was described as “warm.” “I was happy to welcome you to Jerusalem as vice president, and I would be happy to welcome you here when you come to Jerusalem as President,” the prime minister said.
