Netanyahu holds talks with Putin at Kremlin

Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Thursday afternoon. At the beginning of the meeting, Netanyahu said that even today Iran says clearly that it seeks to destroy the Jewish state, and writes this slogan on its ballistic missiles. Extreme Shiite Islamic terror led by Iran threatens not only Israel but also the region and the entire world, he said, adding that Russia and Israel are partners in the desire to prevent any kind of victory for radical Islam.
DEBKAfile sources: The prime minister focused on Iran in his opening remarks, but the main topic during the talks was Hizballah's deployment in Syria.
