Netanyahu: Iran gained a short path to nuclear weapons
In his first comment on the comprehensive nuclear deal concluded Tuesday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called it “a bad mistake of historic proportions.” Iran has gained a “short path to nuclear weapons,” many former restrictions have been eased and Tehran has won a “jackpot of hundreds of millions of dollars” while allowed to pursue aggression and terror in the world. The new deal gives Tehran “every incentive not to change, Netanyahu said. Iran’s support for terrorism will increase, along with its threat to destroy Israel. The Prime Minister quoted Iranian president Hassan Rouhani who commented on the accord Tuesday: “The international community has removed sanctions and Iran is keeping its nuclear program.” In a decade, said the prime minister, Iran will be richer and be able to develop a whole nuclear arsenal.”
