Netanyahu: Israel’s survival is not up for negotiation

In an address to the nation Friday, Passover eve, PM Binyamin Netanyahu reiterated that the proposed deal with Iran “poses a real threat to the region and the world, as well as to Israel’s existence.” It won’t block Iran’s path to a bomb, but the opposite, it opens the way to one.” After the defense cabinet in special session unanimously expressed its opposition to the Lausanne “framework” deal, Netanyahu said: “We won’t accept a deal that allows a state which threatens – and acts in pursuit of – Israel’s destruction.” A permanent accord with Iran must include the Islamic Republic’s explicit recognition of Israel’s existence,” he said.
