Netanyahu, ministers countermand Health Ministry on closing schools

PM Binyamin Netanyahu and a group of ministers decided on Saturday against the Health Ministry’s recommendation to close all high schools nationwide where a spike in coronavirus infection of 113 is centered. They decided to shut only the affected schools – 34 thus far – and allow the majority to operate normally. Covid-19 testing has meanwhile been expanded to pinpoint more hotbeds.
