Netanyahu: No Israeli citizenship for Jordan Valley Palestinians
PM Binyamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that the Palestinians of the Jordan Valley will remain in an enclave after Israeli annexes the territory and not be granted Israeli citizenship. He reiterated his decision to press ahead with plans to annex the Jordan Valley and settlements in Judea and Samaria in line with the Trump Mid-East peace plan. The process may begin from July 1 under the new government coalition accord. Netanyahu explained that the Palestinians in the valley and the city of Jericho would remain under limited Palestinian self-rule and under Israeli security control.
