Netanyahu: No US weapons sales in Israel-UAE normalization deal

The Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem stated on Tuesday that the normal relations accord with the UAE did not include any clauses on the sale of US weapons to the Emirates as reported in Hebrew media.  “The Prime Minister has consistently voiced to the US its objection to the sale of F35 warplanes and any other sophisticated weapons to a Mid-East nation, including in the framework of a peace pact. Washington has just as consistently guaranteed Israel’s qualitative military edge in the region.
