Netanyahu questioned by police on suspicion of accepting gifts
Police investigators questioned Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for four hours Monday night at his Jerusalem residence in relation to suspicions that he accepted inappropriate gifts from businessmen friends. Corruption was not alleged. The state attorney gave the investigators permission to caution Netanyahu according to their judgment.
The Prime Minister’s Office reiterated earlier: “Nothing will be found because there is nothing to be found.” The insinuations disseminated for months by certain mass media are nothing but empty balloons.
