Netanyahu sacks Ministers Lapid and Livni
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid, head of Likud’s leading coalition partner Future, and Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, head of a small faction, as his cabinet fell apart over brawls over policy and personal differences. Netanyahu will address the nation over television at Tuesday night at ten minutes after 8 p.m. Leading parties have taken up campaign mode in expectation of a spring election, which the prime minister may try and avoid by bringing the ultra-religious factions into his cabinet.
