Netanyahu slams critics of US aid to Israel as ungrateful

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu accused the critics of the $38bn US aid package granted Israel for the next decade of ingratitude towards the United States when he opened the weekly cabinet meeting Sunday. “I hear all sorts of background noises and disinformation,” he said, “and I wish to emphasize that we were never offered a dollar more. These are distortions and fabrications put out by interested parties. The saddest thing is that they broadcast an ungrateful attitude towards the United States.”
