Netanyahu to meet Obama in New York Wednesday

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu leaves for New York Tuesday to attend the opening session of the UN General Assembly. He is scheduled to meet President Barack Obama on Wednesday at a Manhattan hotel. He will take the opportunity to personally thank the US president for the 10-year military aid package that was approved last week, as well as discussing regional issues. Thursday, the prime minister is due to address the UN Assembly Thursday and meet with the outgoing UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon, as well as world leaders attending the session.
