Netanyahu to meet Trump, possibly El-Sisi on UN Assembly sidelines
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet President Donald Trump on Wednesday at UN Center in New York on the day the US President leads the UN Security Council as rotating president. This session will focus on Iran. Trump will also address the General Assembly. Among the scores of meetings among world leaders on the sidelines of the world event, Trump and Netanyahu are also expected hold talks with Egyptian President Abdel-Fatteh El-Sisi. Netanyahu addresses the Assembly on Thursday, after Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, before flying home. Whereas Iran will figure large in Netanyahu’s address and meetings, the ongoing Israel-Russian dispute over the crashed Russian plane near Syria will be certainly discussed.
