Netanyahu: We exposed another secret Iranian nuclear plant south of Isfahan
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called reporters to is office on Monday to reveal that Israel had in the past discovered another secret nuclear weapons program facility south of the town of Isfahan. Tehran told UN watchdog inspectors that the facility was a carpet cleaning workshop. Netanyahu, who also serves as defense minister, reported that he had asked the inspectors at the time to examine the site without delay. Today, he said, we know that Tehran had hidden uranium there for it weapons program in violation of its international commitments under the Non-Proliferation Treaty. After it was discovered, the Iranians destroyed the facility and covered it with gravel. However, banned substances were found after all. Netanyahu displayed before and after images of the site and called on the international community to wake up to Tehran’s lies.
