Netanyahu will be confirmed as defense minister despite stormy cabinet session

Jewish Home Ministers Naftali Bennett and Ayelet Shaked fiercely criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at Sunday’s cabinet session for not doing enough to crush the latest Palestinian terrorist attacks. However, they will vote in favor of his appointment as defense minister when it comes before the Knesset. Before the session, the two ministers led a protest demonstration of some 1,000 protesters, outside the PM’s office, including heads of the Judea and Samaria community, who accused the government of a soft hand against the terrorists. They called on the government to remove the legal constraints tying IDF’s hands in its counter-terror operations. Bennett walked out in the middle of the session.

No nation can crush terrorist attacks; any nation can crush the terrorists and the organizations executing terrorist attacks.

So, what exactly is the current government of Israel doing?

Digging holes in the ground while the terrorist’s chief ally literally fulfills Ezekiel 38:7.

It is truly incredible, how the fundamental passivity and do-nothing attitude of Bibi continues to have such a pull in the increasingly “right thinking” rest of the government !

PM Netanyahu would never take on this job in conjunction with being PM unless he is planning something really big militarily. This is the first step for someone wanting total control of the military for purposes only Netanyahu and few others know. I believe that this is an indication that things in the Middle East are about to heat up even more.
