Nigerians protest over hundreds of abducted girls
Protest rallies took place in Abuja Thursday against the Nigerian government’s failure to rescue more than 230 teenage girls still missing two weeks after they were kidnapped at night from a high school in the northeast town of Chibok, a hotbed of the Islamist Boko Haram terrorists. The school principal reported 43 girls managed to escape from the kidnappers, but 230 are still missing. Their parents accuse the authorities of not doing enough to save the girls.
