Night curfew in Baghdad to stem protests
Iraqi authorities Monday imposed a curfew from midnight to dawn in Baghdad on the fourth day of resurgent anti-government protests. At least 72 protesters have been killed since they resumed in Baghdad and across the Shiite south, with their epicenter at the capital’s Tahrir Square. Defying a government order, students skipped classes at universities and secondary schools to join the protests.
US President Donald Trump has signed a document on the US intention to withdraw from the Open Skies Treaty (DON), according to American media. According to sources, a final decision has not yet been made.
