Nine dead and one missing in Israeli flood disaster

Nine of the young students rescued from the flood disaster in Nahal Tsafit south of the Dead Sea have died. One is still missing after most of the 25 students in the group were rescued, most suffering from hypothermia and light injuries, in a large-scale military and civilian emergency operation.

It is from G-d. He Who calls the water of the sea and pours it out on the face of the earth, the Lord is His Name.

Who strengthens the robbed upon the strong, and the robbed shall come upon a fortress.

Behold God [has] a strong and powerful [wind], like a downpour of hail, a storm of destruction, like a stream of powerful, flooding water, He lays it on the land with [His] hand.

And there shall be on every high mountain and on every raised hill, canals, rivulets of water, on the day of the great slaying, when the great ones fall.

when you trust in oppression and deceit, an adder rises to bite you, one that can’t be charmed,

and so, these young people were being prepared for the ranks of the oppressor, and their saviors led them into a ditch.
