Nine US citizens detained in Saudi Arabia in counter-terror raid

A Saudi newspaper reported that 9 Americans were detained as terror suspects in the past week along with a group of Saudis, Yemenis, Syrians, an Indonesian, an Emirati, a Kazakhstani and a Palestinian. The State Department said “We are aware of the reports and take our obligations to assist US citizens abroad seriously, However, due to privacy considerations we have no further comment."
