No crowds on Mt. Meron for this Lag BeOmer due to covid restrictions

The annual Lag BeOmer mass pilgrimage and celebration on Mt. Meron in Galilee next week will be drastically scaled down along with the traditional bonfires across the country in keeping with coronavirus restrictions against crowds. Police are setting up roadblocks around Safed and other locations at the foot of the mountain to head off would-be intruders.
