No progress in Likud-Kachol talks
After a four-hour meeting, the Kachol-Lavan team said that talks with Likud for a shared government would go nowhere so long as Likud retained Binyamin Netanyahu at the helm of government. Likud called on Kachol Lavon to accept President Reuven Rivlin’s proposal to enact a law for splitting the premiership between two leaders. The two teams agreed to meet again on Sunday.
Right call.
