North Korea: Missile tested has late-stage guidance warhead
North Korea said on Monday it had successfully tested an intermediate-range ballistic missile which met all technical requirements and could now be mass-produced. The missile was fired into waters off North Korea’s east coast on Sunday, its second missile test in a week. The Pukguksong-2 was said to be armed with a “reliable late-stage guidance warhead” and a “solid-fuel engine.” DEBKAfile: If these claims are confirmed, North Korea can be said to have taken a major step towards the ability to mount multiple warheads on a single missile.
