North Korea to dismantle nuclear test ground

The North Korean news agency reported Saturday: The Nuclear Weapon Institute and other concerned institutions are taking technical measures for dismantling the northern nuclear test ground of the DPRK in order to ensure transparency of discontinuance of the nuclear test.” This followed President Trump’s announcement that his summit with Kim Jong-un would take place on June 12 in Singapore, the first ever meeting between a sitting US president and a North Korean ruler

Pyongyang added that dismantlement of the test site would involve collapsing all of its tunnels with explosions, blocking its entrances and removing all observation facilities, research buildings and security posts.

From what I read the site is collapsing on its own and is unusable. So, it’s a smart move on his part to make it look like he is voluntarily dismantling it.
