North Korean general heads for Washington amid summit preparations
The South Korean news agency reports that Gen. Kim Yong-chol, who is considered right hand of the North Korean ruler, Kim Jong-un, is traveling to Washington via Beijing and due to arrive on Wednesday. He would be the most prominent north Korean official to visit the US in nearly two decades. His trip, confirmed by US President Donald Trump, is part of the quickening preparations for the Trump-Kim summit scheduled for June 12 in Singapore.
North Korea is collapsing from within, China and Russia want no open borders in which the people in NK would exit. There’s no other option but to unify with the South.
