Northern Israeli air space and airports closed to civilian traffic.

As the northern border clash escalated midday Wednesday, northern Israeli air space and Haifa and Rosh Pinah airport facilities were closed to civilian air traffic. PM Netanyahu joined urgent security conference at IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv. Hizballah has taken responsibility for initiating the exchange of fire which raged more than 90 minutes.
