Number of fatalities in Russian air crash in Syria amended to 39

The defense ministry in Moscow has revised from 32 to 39 the number of dead in the Antonov-26 crash which occurred as the plane came into land at Russia’s’ Syrian Khmeimim air base on Tuesday. They included 33 passengers and six crew. Our military sources report that the the pilots are believed to have been drunk and so caused the crash.
