NYT report of failed Israeli air strike in Syria is unfounded

The New York Times quoted US intelligence analysts Thursday as concluding that a recent Israeli air strike in Latakia, Syria, failed to destroy all the Russian-made Yakhont anti-ship missiles because some were moved out before the attack. DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources: Israel was not responsible for the Latakia attack notwithstanding repeated attempts to attribute it to the Israeli air force.
