Obama and Putin in phone call on Syrian ceasefire

Presidents Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin talked on the phone Monday to clinch Saturday Feb. 27 as the date for another attempt to enforce a ceasefire in Syria. The White House spokesman Josh Earnest commented later: “We recognize… this is going to be difficult to implement.” There are obstacles and difficulties ahead and delays and holdups are to be expected.
