Obama expands aid to Jordan

After a conversation of two and-a-quarter hours in California with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, President Barack Obama approved expanded economic and military aid to the kingdom and the renewal of just expired guarantees for $1bn of credit . The two steps are subject to congressional confirmation.
