Obama, Hollande commit to anti-terror cooperation
President Barack Obama hailed cooperation with France against the terrorist threat in many places, including Africa, at a joint press appearance after their White House talks Tuesday. He promised rapid information-sharing with France and urged Europe to ramp up its anti-terror efforts and implement the agreement for airlines to share passenger information. “We agreed that Russia must shift its strikes from Syrian rebels to ISIS” and that peace in Syria can only be achieved by a political transition away from Assad,” Obama said..
Hollande said: “We will work with Russia against ISIS, if the Russians focus their attacks on the Islamist group.
