Obama nominates Jack Lew to Treasury

President Barack Obama has nominated White House chief of staff Jack Lew as his next Treasury Secretary in place of Timothy Geithner. Lew is a former budget director under Presidents Obama and Bill Clinton. An Orthodox Jew who observes the Jewish Sabbath, Lew is a member of the Congregation Beth Sholom in Potomac, Maryland.
