Obama phoned Netanyahu: You never asked for us to meet
The US president denied that Israel had asked for him to meet the prime minister in a phone call which attempted to quell the storm over his reported rebuff. Early Wednesday, the White House reported that in their telephone conversation, Obama and Netanyahu discussed the Iranian nuclear dispute between them but not what was decided. The president almost certainly remains flat opposed to a unilateral Israel attack on Iran.
