Obama still hedging on military action for chemical use in Syria
In impromptu answers to questions Tuesday, President Barack Obama repeated previous statements: There is evidence of the use of chemical weapons inside Syria, but we still don't not know when they were used and by whom. Evidence of their use would be a game changer, he said again, this time adding that it means “we would have to rethink the range of options… I asked the Pentagon last year to make available to the White House… and which I do not propose to reveal here.” He stressed that the only way to bring peace is for Assad to step down.
