Obama: The FBI is investigating an act of terror

In his second statement on the Boston Marathon bombings, President Barack Obama referred to the outrage for the first time in terms of terrorism. “This was a heinous and cowardly attack and the FBI is investigating it as an act of terror because it targeted civilians,” he said. “But we don’t know if who was behind the bombings were foreign, domestic or individual.” We will find out, he said. “The American people refuses to be terrorized.”
The Boston Marathon casualty toll has risen to 176 injured -17 critical – in addition to three dead.
