Omicon booster shots cut 81pc severe disease in over 65s

A new Israeli study covering half a million people demonstrates that the new “bivalent” booster shots, enhanced against omicron covid variants, has saved 81pc of people aged over 65 from hospitalization with serious disease and deaths compared with earlier boosters. It has been approved by the FDA as an emergency measure, While the study, run by Clalilt, Israel’s largest health provider, has not yet been peer-reviewed it has been posted in an online repository run by the Lancet.
