One killed, 22 injured in ongoing riots in Israeli Bedouin town
In the southern Israeli Bedouin town of Rahat, one person was killed and 22 injured in riots that blew up Sunday at the funeral of Sammi al-Jaghar, who was shot dead last week in a police crackdown on drug dealers in the town. At least two police officers were injured when angry crowds mobbed the police van, which was extricated with the help of gunfire and stun grenades. The Rahat town council announced a local shutdown would continue Monday.
