One Palestinian dead, several injured in Gaza riot

More than a thousand Palestinians violently mobbed the Gaza-Israel Erez border crossing Wednesday night. Israeli troops used live fire and crowd dispersal measures to break up the disturbance, before it pushed through the border fence. The Tuesday riot has become a weekly feature of Hamas provocations on the border fence in addition to Fridays. Incendiary balloons from Gaza caused four fires on the Israeli side of the border – a daily feature of life as Israeli neighbors of Hamas-ruled Gaza.
